Express Entry
Express Entry, as the name suggests, is the fastest way to permanent residence. It is a common system used by Canadian Immigration services, which holds the pool of skilled immigrants and conducts frequent draws to select the applications for PR. These draws are based on the points awarded to each applications, based on their skills level, education, age, language proficiency and other factors.
Express Entry comprises of following immigration programs
Canadian Experience Class - This is for skilled workers who have valid work experience that they have gained while working in Canada (within past 3 years at the time of applying). This experience has to be in TEER 0, 1, 2, or 3 job categories.
The candidates have to meet the minimum language requirements (CLB 7 for TEER 0,1 and CLB 5 for TEER 2,3 jobs) and a minimum of 1 year of skilled work experience, to be eligible for this category.
This program has no minimum education requirements, but you can get extra points for your education completed in Canada or if you have a completed Educational Credential Assessment from a recognized organization. Know more
Federal Skilled Worker Program -
The target audience for this program are the skilled workers who have gained experience in TEER 0,1,2,3 Jobs, outside Canada.
They must have/meet
The minimum language requirements (CLB 7 in reading, writing, speaking, listening)
At least 1 year of continuous work or 1560 hours of Skilled work experience in TEER 0,1,2,3 Jobs
Education completed in Canada or if you have a completed Educational Credential Assessment from a recognized organization.
Candidates must show proof of funds unless they are currently eligible to work in Canada / have a valid job offer from a Canadian employer.
Federal Skilled Trades Program - This program is for people who have at least 2 years of full time( or equal amount of part time) experience in a skilled trade (Major Group 72, 73, 82, 83, 92, 93, Minor Group 6320, Unit Group 62200. Find more about NOC codes

The minimum language requirement is CLB 4 for writing and reading and CLB 5 for listening and speaking.
