Provincial Nomination Program

If you are someone who has the education, skills and work experience suitable for a province's economic growth and you want to live in that province and become a permanent residence, then this pathway is for you.

Every province is seeking skilled workforce in specific streams. e.g some province might be seeking nurses actively and some might be seeking semi-skilled workers. 

There are two ways to apply for a Provincial nomination

Non Express Entry Process  - This process takes much longer than the express entry route. You reach out to a province for their nomination, if you meet the minimum requirements. If the province nominates you, then you apply for permnent residence online. You have to clear a medical exam and need a police clearance certificate. Know more

Express Entry Process - In this process, there are couple of ways to apply

• You can either apply for a nomination under an express entry stream by contacting the province/territory directly. If your are nominated by the province, then you can show under the express entry profile that you have been nominated.

• Or Under your express entry profile, you can select what provinces/territories you are interested in. After receiving the notification of interest and eventually, the nomination certificate, you can accept in in your express entry account and get additional points.

In both the cases, you should meet the requirements of the province/ territory and should also create and express entry profile and show that the minimum criteria is met. Know more
